I met this guy who goes by the name "Eddie Pakwani" at my local Salvation Army in the used CD section. He liked my Motörhead t-shirt that I was wearing. He talked about how he used to be in different Darkwave/hardcore bands in Jakarta in the 90s. We started jamming at my house and hit it off. I brought along my coworker from my side job, Lester Lim, in one of our sessions and the rest is history. We decided to start a band called Xev Destruct, with me on vocals and samplers, Lester on electronic drums, and Eddie on guitar and DIY gadgets he created in his garage. This is what we recorded in a span of two weeks. Beware! This music is aggressive, harsh noise, sample-based, electronic punk rock with a hint of some weird synth pop. These guys are true underground artists from SGV and the Inland Empire. It's an honor to play and record with these unknown talented guys.
